tempmate® was founded in 1983 by Joachim Stoll, father of current CEO Andreas Stoll, a visionary who recognized the importance of preserving sensitive goods and building reliable supply chains. His dedication to innovation, quality, and trust laid the foundation for everything we do today.

The company releases its first proprietary temperature logger, the tempmate.®-S1, a USB data logger. The product is an immediate success, leading to the launch of the tempmate product range.

Buoyed by the success of its logging devices, the company rebrands as tempmate GmbH. Transitioning from a distributor to an innovative company, it now develops its own solutions for monitoring sensitive goods.
